Christmas

Christmas

The last two years have left us longing to travel. You might be surprised to learn that the first Christmas story involved lots of travel: Mary and Joseph crossed state borders to arrive at Bethlehem, and the wise men crossed international borders to come and worship Jesus. There was lots of travel!

This illustrates how God himself crossed borders to come to us, so that we can come to Him through his Son, Jesus. If you’re longing to travel, we invite you to come and join us this Christmas, to come to God, and to worship. Not sure what to expect? Below is what’s on offer.

Hilltop Praise

Friday 17 December, 7pm

Come and worship! A chance to lift hearts, hands and voices in praise of God, who travelled far to come to us, to bring us home to Him!

Kids Christmas

Christmas Eve, Friday 24 December, 5:30pm

If you have kids (aged 1-12), this is the service for them. There will be a jumping castle and sausage sizzle from 5:30pm, followed by a lively and fun Christmas service (featuring carols and storytelling) from 6-7pm. Then, feel free to stay to mingle and have another sausage while the kids have a last jump on the jumping castle. Adults and kids – come and worship!

Tasteful Christmas

Christmas Eve, Friday 24 December, 9pm

Come and enjoy Christmas cheer with wine and cheese from 9pm, followed by a tasteful service for adults from 9:30-10:30pm (traditional carols, Christmas prayers, and a thoughtful reflection on the Christmas story – ‘Crossing Borders’), with the chance after the service to keep mingling over wine and cheese. A wonderful way to celebrate Christmas with your adult family and friends.

Family Christmas

Christmas Day, Saturday 25 December, 9am

Join us in welcoming in Christmas Day with our all-age service for adults and children. There will be carols, readings, and several short talks designed to maintain interest for all. Church will finish by 10am, allowing lots of time for you to keep enjoying the day.

Boxing Day

There will be no church gathering on Sunday 26 December

Enjoy the rest. Our next church gathering will be on Sunday 2 January at 10am. We’re looking forward to gathering with you then!
