Chris has been the senior pastor at Trinity Church Aldgate since 2018, prior to which he served as associate pastor at Trinity Church Adelaide from 2003, and in Wollongong from 2000.
What led to him becoming a Christian? “It all began with the axe murder of the lady across the road”, says Chris. That experience set him on a path to question life, attend church, accept Jesus, and give his life to speaking of him. Before Christian ministry, Chris’s worklife included retail, sewerage pipe installation, statistical analysis, door-to-door selling and university tutoring.
Chris has honours degrees in Psychology (UNSW), Divinity (Moore Theological College), and a MA (Theology) at Moore College and the Bible College of SA. Chris enjoys reading, swimming, being awestruck by the beauty of nature, and hanging out with his wife, Narelle, and giving donkey rides to his grandchildren. He loves reading well written novels, catching up over coffee, and sharing the treasures of God’s word with others.
